Appeal Allowed

Dog Kennels - James Wells Planning

Permission has been granted on appeal for a dog kennels in Cornwall. Permission was refused on the basis of the perceived effect for neighbouring properties from noise. Details relating to noise were provided with the planning application to explain the lack of impact through the method of building construction and the relatively small scale of the use. While the building was located at the site boundary, it was successfully argued that this did not result in any harm for neighbours. Overall, the appeal found that the proposals were acceptable in their context and permission was granted.
