Permission has been granted on appeal for a Cornish brewery to provide external seating for customers visiting the premises to use. Permission was sought to enable customers to enjoy the beer being produced at the site during the warmer months. A modest outside space was sought but permission was originally refused on the grounds it would conflict with the industrial estate uses and result in a pub being formed in an out of town location. In allowing the appeal it was concluded the small scale of the proposals had no real impact on the estate and nor did it create a pub use. We enjoy working with other businesses to help them thrive and try to make sense of the planning process!
