An appeal has been allowed in the Plymouth area which concerned parking provision. A small redevelopment scheme within a Conservation Area sought to restore properties to their original layout. No parking was provided due to the age of the properties and it was argued that parking was necessary to make the scheme acceptable. The Planning Inspector sided with the applicant in agreeing that the lack of parking provision was a minor factor in the overall scheme and needed to be balanced against the other positive factors.
