Disposal of redundant hospital in Plymouth

FORMER HOSPITAL SITE IN PLYMOUTH SEEKS NEW USES – Following the decommissioning of a small hospital site in Plymouth advice has been provided to the landowner on suitable alternative new uses. The advice was followed with positive pre-application discussions with the Council to agree a basis for a residential redevelopment. The site was then put to the market to provide a basis for the new owners to move a scheme forward in the safe knowledge that it would receive a favourable response. This work helped to provide certainity and improve the offers received in respect of the land to secure the best value for a public body.
