Land proposed for residential allocation in Plymouth

Following representations made by James Wells Planning Limited land on the east of Plymouth has been proposed for residential development in the new joint Local Plan for Plymouth, South Hams and West Devon. Initial responses indicated that the site had constraints to development and the site was initially rejected. Following careful research it was successfully demonstrated that the issues raised were no longer valid or could be overcome with careful design. The Council has now accepted the arguments as being valid and now propose that the land be developed for residential purposes. This is the first piece of work undertaken by James Wells Planning Limited in promoting land for allocation through the Local Plan process and it has proven to be successful.
