Two recent cases show that once permission is granted and work has commenced, it is possible to build this out many years later. In 2 different cases we have successfully demonstrated that work had begun to commence planning permissions. Sometimes a development is not built out immediately and it is wise to confirm that it is still lawful to carry on and build. In both cases, Dartmoor National Park and South Hams District Council confirmed it was lawful to carry on and build the developments.
