Planning permission and listed building consent have been granted to extend a listed building to provide additional boarding accommodation. Extensive pre-application consultations were undertaken prior to the submission and a comprehensive package of supporting information allowed an approval with a limited number of planning conditions to satisfy. This project was undertaken in a very constrained environment with a range of limitations to overcome. This scheme required working carefully in a project team to deal with all of the constraints.
