Planning appeal won- New house in conversation area allowed

Planning permission has been granted on appeal for a new house in a Plymouth Conservation Area. Following an extensive input from James Wells Planning, permission was granted for a detached modern dwelling within the heart of the Conservation Area. The site itself had a complex range of issues involved that needed to be interpreted and argued successfully. The Inspector agreed that the scheme was acceptable despite certain conflicts with local guidance. The appeal successfully demonstrated that the proposal aligned with the local character and would add to the range of local buildings in a positive manner.
