Planning permission has just been granted for retail use at a former car dealership in Plymouth. James Wells Planning Limited secured permission following earlier pre-application discussions with the Council. Retail use was always going to be involved on a site outside of any defined shopping centre. However, the site is located within a regeneration area and a carefully crafted case helped to influence the decision to approve the application.
