Planning permission has recently been granted in the South Hams for alterations to the business at a rum distillery. Previous restrictions meant that permission was needed to consume alcohol on the premises and to have taster sessions. In order to help the business to improve its’ offer the additional facilities were needed. We are always keen to help business diversify and improve what it can offer. We were able to present the scheme in a way that allowed permission to be granted subject to conditions.
